Penggunaan teknologi ini telah mengubah paradigma tradisional penulisan akademis, memunculkan pertanyaan hukum tentang kepemilikan intelektual dan hak cipta terkait dengan karya yang dihasilkan. Dalam era teknologi informasi yang berkembang pesat, penggunaan teknologi kecerdasan buatan, seperti Chat GPT, telah menjadi semakin umum dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam penulisan tugas akhir kuliah. Namun, di balik manfaatnya yang luar biasa, harus diperhatikan isu hak cipta yang terkait dengan penggunaan teknologi ini. Bahkan Meskipun memberikan kemudahan dan efisiensi, penggunaan teknologi ini menimbulkan pertanyaan pertanyaan penting terkait aspek hukum, terutama dalam konteks hak cipta. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode empiris, Penelitian empiris dalam konteks ini merujuk pada pendekatan penelitian yang mengumpulkan data atau informasi berdasarkan pengalaman atau pengamatan konkret. Dalam penelitian ini, metode empiris melibatkan pengumpulan data secara langsung dari subjek penelitian atau melibatkan kuesioner, wawancara, atau analisis dokumen untuk memahami dan menjelaskan fenomena hak cipta yang timbul akibat penggunaan teknologi seperti Chat GPT dalam konteks penulisan tugas akhir kuliah. Selain itu, penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi terkait perlindungan hak cipta, pedoman penggunaan teknologi, dan perbaikan kebijakan institusi untuk mengakomodasi perubahan ini.

The use of these technologies has changed the traditional paradigm of academic writing, raising legal questions about intellectual ownership and copyright associated with the resulting works. In an era of rapidly evolving information technology, the use of artificial intelligence technologies, such as Chat GPT, has become increasingly common in various aspects of life, including in the writing of final college assignments. However, behind its tremendous benefits, one must be mindful of the copyright issues associated with the use of this technology. Even though it provides convenience and efficiency, the use of this technology raises important questions related to legal aspects, especially in the context of copyright. The research method uses empirical methods, Empirical research in this context refers to a research approach that collects data or information based on concrete experiences or observations. In this study, the empirical method involves collecting data directly from research subjects or involves questionnaires, interviews, or document analysis to understand and explain copyright phenomena arising from the use of technology such as Chat GPT in the context of writing the final project of the college. In addition, this research provides recommendations regarding copyright protection, guidelines for the use of technology, and improvements to institutional policies to accommodate these changes.
