Plagiarism Policy
Jurnal Hukum Mimbar Justitia upholds academic integrity and does not tolerate any form of plagiarism. Every submitted manuscript must be the author's original work, must not have been previously published, and must not be under consideration for publication in any other journal or medium.
All incoming manuscripts are screened for similarity using Turnitin or iThenticate software before being sent to the reviewers. The following provisions apply:

Manuscripts with a similarity index of no more than 20% may proceed to the peer review stage.

Manuscripts with a similarity index of more than 20% will be returned to the author for revision of the plagiarized content before they can be processed further.

If plagiarism is proven after a manuscript has been published, the editorial board reserves the right to issue a correction, retract the article, or take other measures in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Prohibited forms of plagiarism include, but are not limited to, copying another person's work in whole or in part without citing the source, paraphrasing others' ideas without proper attribution, and self-plagiarism, namely the reuse of a substantial portion of one's own previously published work without clear reference. All cited sources must be properly acknowledged in accordance with the journal's designated citation style.
Full responsibility for the authenticity and originality of the manuscript rests with the author.
