About Agroscience

Agroscience serves as a platform for the development of science and technology in the fields of Agribusiness and Agrotechnology. It is a scientific journal that publishes high-quality and original research articles. The journal was established based on a decision made at a meeting of the Faculty of Agriculture leadership.

Since 2011, Agroscience has published its first issue, Volume 1, Number 1, and continued to be published in print format through Volume 4, Number 2.

In 2015, the Faculty of Agriculture was renamed the Faculty of Applied Sciences. Subsequently, Agroscience, which had previously been published exclusively in print, began to be published in both print and online formats through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. The online version of Agroscience began with Volume 5, Number 1. However, the earlier issues, from Volume 1, Number 1 to Volume 4, Number 2, were gradually uploaded to the online platform, allowing readers to access the journal's complete archive from its inaugural issue to the most recent edition.

In 2017, Agroscience experienced a serious technical incident when its website was hacked by an unauthorized party, resulting in the loss of files stored on the journal's server. The editorial team made efforts to collect the available files and rebuild the Agroscience OJS platform. Although the journal's digital records and activity history prior to 2017 were lost, the editorial team had maintained manual records to help preserve the journal's publication history.

Agroscience is a scientific periodical published by the Institute for Research and Community Service (Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, LPPM), Faculty of Applied Sciences, Universitas Suryakancana. The journal is published twice a year, in June and December.
