Focus and Scope

PRISMA (ISSN Online: 2614-4611, ISSN Print: 2089-3604) is an academic journal published online and print twice a year, June and December by Universitas Suryakancana. This journal focus in mathematics education and disciplined inquiry into the teaching and learning of mathematics. The scope of journal are: Mathematics Learning Model, Media Learning Mathematics, Curriculum in Mathematics Teaching, Assessment and Evaluation in Mathematics Teaching, Ethnomatics in Mathematics Learning, Design Didactical in Mathematics Learning, Lesson Study in Mathematics Learning.The manuscript must be original research, written in English, and not be simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Every received article should follow Author guideline. Any submitted paper will be reviewed by reviewers. Review process employs Double-blind Review that the reviewer does not know the identity of the author, and the author does not know the identity of the reviewers.PRISMA as OAI address: https://jurnal.unsur.ac.id/prisma/oai

Peer Review Process

Submission of Manuscript

The corresponding author send the manuscript through open journal system (OJS) of PRISMA. The submitted manuscript will be held an initial review by editor through evaluation some aspects that proper to PRISMA criteria, which are focus and scope, template suitability, major methodological flaw, and similarity level using Tunitin.

Continued to Reviewer

The manuscript which passed the initial review, it will be continued by at least two anonymous reviewers for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation (blind peer review). Reviewers' comments are then sent to the corresponding author for necessary actions and responses.

The suggested decision will be evaluated in an editorial board meeting. Afterwards, the editor will send the final decision to the corresponding author.

Review Outcomes

Utilizing feedback from the peer review process, the Editor will make a final publication decision. The review process will take approximately 4 to 12 weeks. Decisions categories include:

  1. Reject- Rejected manuscripts will not be published and authors do not have the opportunity to resubmit a revised version of the manuscript to PRISMA.
  2. Resubmit for Review - The submission needs to be re-worked with significant changes, may be accepted. However, it will require a second round of review.
  3. Accept with Revisions- Manuscripts receiving an accept-pending-revisions decision will be published in PRISMA under the condition that minor/major modifications are made. Revisions will be reviewed by an editor to ensure necessary updates are made prior to publication.
  4. Accept- Accepted manuscripts will be published with no further modifications required.

The reviewers' and editor's suggestions will be conveyed to the author, who will then have an opportunity to revise the paper. A manuscript returned to an author for revision can be held for a maximum of four weeks.

Correspondence contact

All correspondence concerning manuscripts should be directed to the Editor of PRISMA by whatsapp number or corresponding email. The Editor will communicate to the corresponding author for completing the publication, i.e. authors identity, metadata, manuscript copyediting and layout editing.

Publication Frequency

PRISMA is a periodic scientific journal published by Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Suryakancana twice a year in June and December.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
