Pemanfaatan Speechnote dan Colornote dalam Penelitian Sosiolinguistik

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan aplikasi “speechnote” dan “colornote” dalam penelitian sosiolinguistik. Pemanfaatan aplikasi dianggap menjadi hal yang memudahkan sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman dan perkembangan teknologi. Metode deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian dengan menggunakan data dari hasil wawancara. Pada penelitian, mahasiswa ditugasi untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan bahasa pada masyarakat. Perangkat wawancara dibawa berupa catatan kecil dan alat perekam. Penggunaan alat ini dapat mempermudah pemanfaatan aplikasi speechnote yang merekam suara dan langsung mengubahnya (transkripsi) ke dalam tulisan, serta colornote untuk mencatat hal-hal penting yang terdapat dalam penelitian. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket yang dibagikan melalui google form yang dibagikan pada 30 responden, berisi mengenai respon dan pemanfaatan speechnote dan colornote. Berdasarkan hasil angket, dikwtahui bahwa  speechnote dan colornote dapat digunakan dan mempermudah dalam penelitian sosiolinguistik.

Abstract:

This article aims to describe the use of ”speechnote" and "colornote" applications in sociolinguistic research. The use of applications is considered as a way to make everything easier that is relevant with today’s condition and and technology development. Descriptive method was used in this research using data from interviews. In conducting research, students were asked to describe the use of language in society. The tools of interview were in the form of note and recording device. The use of speechnote application that records voices and immediately converts it (transcription) into writing, as well as colornotes to record important things in research can make the process easier. Data were collected by means of  questionnaire distributed via google form which was distributed to 30 respondents, containing the responses and utilization of speechnote and colornote. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it is revealed that speechnote and colornote can be used and make sociolinguistic research easier.
