PROGRAM PEMBUATAN PUPUK KOMPOS GUNA MENINGKATKAN KUANTITAS HASIL PANEN DAN PENGUSIR HAMA TIKUS BAGI PETANI

ABSTRAK
Kompos adalah bahan-bahan organik yang sudah mengalami proses pelapukan karena terjadi interaksi antara mikroorganisme atau bakteri pembusuk yang bekerja di dalam bahan organik tersebut. Dalam hal ini kotoran kambing dan sampah daun kering sebagai bahan dasar pupuk organik yang dipergunakan dalam pertaniannya sendiri maupun diperjualbelikan. Sehingga laporan pengabdian ini bertujuan agar masyarakat Desa Banjarsari dapat membuat kompos berbahan kotoran kambing dan sampah daun kering guna meningkatkan kuantitas hasil panen maupun pengusir hama tikus. Metode pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan: tahap persiapan, tahap sosialisasi dan aplikasi, serta tahap akhir. Tahap persiapan dilakukan dengan pengumpulan sampah daun kering. Tahap sosialisasi dilakukan dalam rapat warga, serta pelatihan pembuatan kompos dari fermentasi menggunakan EM4 pada Kotoran Kambing dan sampah daun kering. Tahap akhir terdiri dari pembuatan laporan akhir. Hasil yang diharapkan adalah masyarakat Desa Banjarsari mampu membuat pupuk kompos padat berbahasan dasar kotoran kambing dan sampah daun kering yang dapat digunakan dalam pertanian, maupun dikomersilkan sehingga dapat meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat. penggunaan aplikasi berdasarkan dokumentasi aplikasi hingga simbolis serah terima aplikasi.
ABSTRACT
Compost is organic material that has undergone a weathering process due to interactions between microorganisms or spoilage bacteria that work in the organic material. In this case, goat dung and dry leaf waste are used as basic ingredients for organic fertilizers that are used in their own agriculture or traded. So that this service report aims to make the people of Banjarsari Village able to make compost made from goat manure and dry leaf waste in order to increase the quantity of crop yields and rat repellent. The community service method is carried out in three stages: the preparation stage, the socialization and application stage, and the final stage. The preparation stage is carried out by collecting dry leaf waste. The socialization stage was carried out in community meetings, as well as training in making compost from fermentation using EM4 on Goat Manure and dry leaf waste. The final stage consists of making a final report. The expected result is that the people of Banjarsari Village are able to make solid compost based on goat manure and dry leaf waste that can be used in agriculture, as well as commercialized so that it can improve the community's economy.
