About the Journal

Focus and Scope

JE (Journal of Empowerment) has a vision to become a scientific journal with national and international standards for disseminating and developing thinking results in the field of community service and multidisciplinary disciplines on:

1. Legal Counseling, Legal Study Center, Legal Opinion, in the perspective of Administrative Law, Civil Law, and Criminal Law;

2. Educational Services in Community, including : Education of Indonesian and Foreign Language; Education of Pancasila and citizenship; Education of Mathematics; Education of Physical Health and recreation;

3. Training, Marketing, Appropriate Technology (AT), Design, Informatics, Civil Engineering and Industrial Engineering;

4. Community Empowerment in Sustainable Development, in the field of Economy, Health, Environment, Social and Culture.

Peer Review Process

The editorial board will assess all articles before sending them to the staff. Two reviewers will check each paper after it is given to the Mitra Bestari peer reviewer and selected via the Double-Blind Peer Review Process. Articles will then be returned to authors for revision. They take a month (four weeks) max. Peer reviewers, will evaluate each manuscript's substance and technique. They had managed and published prominent journals nationwide and overseas.

Publication Frequency

JE (Journal of Empowerment) is a periodic scientific journal published by Institute of Research and Community Service of Suryakancana University (LPPM UNSUR) twice a year in June and December.

Open Access Policy

JE (Journal of Empowerment) provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public to supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Journal History

JE (Journal of Empowerment) was formed based on the results of the Suryakancana University Leaders Meeting on January 28, 2017, and was approved on April 8, 2017, in accordance with Rector Decree Number 11/SK/REK/UG/IV/2017 regarding the appointment of Journal Manager of Community Service at Suryakancana University. The name of the Journal of Community Service is JE (Journal of Empowerment).

JE (Journal of Empowerment) is a mean of developing science and technology in the exact and non-exact field through the publication of writing based on the results of community service (original).

JE (Journal of Empowerment), in the 2018-2020 issue did not publish an article (Vacuum) due to some matters in management. The plan will continue to be published in print or online in Volume 02 No. 01 June 2021. JE (Journal of Empowerment) Journal of Environmental has experienced a change in style in the issue of 2021, the changes can be seen in the Author Guidelines and Template the latest version of the.

JE (Journal of Empowerment) has successfully achieved Sinta 4 accreditation starting from Volume 2 Number 1 in 2021 to Volume 6 Number 2 in 2025. This achievement is in accordance with the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 72/E/Kpt/2024 Regarding the Accreditation Rating of Scientific Journals for Period I of 2024.
