Pengaruh Membaca Cerita Rakyat terhadap Kepedulian Sosial

Masalah yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah sikap kepedulian sosial siswa yang sudah mulai berkurang, salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh majunya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi serta tingginya rasa individualis. Cerita rakyat Asal Mula Kota Cianjur mengandung pesan moral mengenai sikap kepedulian sosial, sehingga diharapkan dengan membaca dan mempelajari cerita rakyat tersebut dapat berpengaruh pada perubahan sikap seseorang khususnya sikap kepedulian sosial pada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh membaca cerita rakyat terhadap kepedulian sosial siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pra-eksperimental dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X AP 2 SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur yang berjumlah 41 siswa. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik tes, angket penilaian sikap dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh membaca cerita rakyat Asal Mula Kota Cianjur terhadap kepedulian sosial siswa.

The problem underlying this study is the attitude of social awareness of students who have started to decrease, one of which is influenced by the advance of science and technology and the high sense of individualism. Asal Mula Kota Cianjur contains a moral message about the attitude of social care, which is expected by reading and studying folklore can affect a person's attitude changes, especially the attitude of social awareness in students. This study aims to determine the effect of reading stories of people's social care students. This study uses a pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest. The subjects were students of class X AP 2 SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur totaling 41 students. Collecting data using testing techniques, attitude assessment questionnaire and interviews. The results showed that there are significant reading against social care students.
