Konstruksi Perempuan dalam Kumpulan Cerpen "Parade yang Tak Pernah Usai": Kajian Feminisme Liberal

This article aims to identify the construction of women in the short story collection Parade that Never Ends. This research uses Naomi Wolf's liberal feminist theory. Descriptive qualitative methods were used to analyze the data in this research. Data was collected using documentation techniques, namely listening and taking notes. This research found four forms of construction of women in the short story collection Parade yang Tak Pernah Usai, namely women are identified based on their identity, women are better off being perfect and helpless, women never choose to act aggressively and women are household angels which are found in 5 short stories.

ABSTRAK
Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi konstruksi perempuan dalam kumpulan cerpen “Parade yang Tak Pernah Usai.” Penelitian ini menggunakan teori feminisme liberal Naomi Wolf. Metode kualitaitf deskriptif digunakan untuk menganalisis data dalam penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, yakni simak dan catat. Penelitian ini menemukan empat bentuk konstruksi perempuan dalam kumpulan cerpen Parade yang Tak Pernah Usai, yakni perempuan diidentifkasi berdasarkan jati diri, perempuan lebih baik sempurna tanpa daya, perempuan tak pernah memilih bertindak agresif dan perempuan adalah bidadari rumah tangga yang terdapat dalam 5 cerpen.
