Abstract


Currently, social media has become a trend in the world of technology, politics, economy, social, culture and education. In the world of education, someone can take advantage of social media for teaching and learning activities. The use of social media by students can be influenced by their environment, family and individual characteristics. The number of interesting features in social media networks makes them prone to laziness and addiction. This situation affects activities and activities, such as eating, sleeping, socializing, schooling and studying. Pkn is one of the formal education subjects or compulsory subjects from elementary school to college. Pkn learning has a role in shaping the character of students, this is to improve individuals who are noble, intelligent, participatory, and responsible. The influence of Social Media can create a new culture of society that is characterized by being free, open, optimistic, tolerant, and vulnerable to change. The influence of social media can also affect the quality of student learning, so that it can have an impact on student learning scores
