Author Guidelines

WRITING GUIDELINES
(AUTHOR GUIDELINES)

1. Introduction.
Agroscience is a means of developing science and technology in the field of Agribusiness and Agrotechnology, in the form of scientific journals resulting from quality and original research, which was formed based on the results of the Leadership Meeting of the Faculty of Agriculture, and legalized in accordance with the Decree of the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture on Appointment Agroscience Journal Manager.
Agroscience, is a periodic scientific journal published by the Institute for Research and Community Service, Faculty of Applied Science, Suryakancana University which is published 2 (two) times a year, namely in June and December, Agroscience already has ISSN 1979- 4681 and e-ISSN 2579-7891 (online). The edition going into effect is Volume 1, Number. 1, June 2011. Agroscience, has a vision to become a scientific journal with national and international standards in disseminating and developing ideas in the fields of Agribusiness and Agrotechnology.

2. How to Write Title, Name, Address, and Abstract. (How to Write the Title, the Name, Author's Address, and Abstract).
The title of the manuscript in Indonesian and English, in bold and capital letters (uppercase), font size 12, no more than 15 words, line spacing 1 (single), and includes the location of dedication, and after the title is followed by the full name of the author (without title and without profession), address, and e-mail, with a font size of 12 without bold (bold). If the author is more than one then it is followed by a sign (,) followed by the name of the next author.
Abstracts are written in standard English consistently (American English or British English). Abstracts are written in good and correct Indonesian, using standard words. Both abstracts and abstracts are made in one complete paragraph without reference to references or tables and / or images, no more than 150 words written in Garamond 12 letters, line spacing 1 (single), accompanied by Keywords, up to 5 words . The contents must contain important problems to be solved, objectives, methods, results, conclusions, and should not be too dense with numbers. Shorthand is not permitted unless the word is used more than once

3. The Manuscript General Guidelines.
General guidelines, as follows:
a. The manuscript is the result of research, the original has never been published;
b. The manuscript does not contain plagiarism elements and is added with proof of plagiarism check results;
c. Paid submissions and publications (Rp. 450,000) are paid after receiving the Letter of Acceptance (LoA);
d. Agroscience Redaction, receives research papers in the field of Agribusiness and Agrotechnology, through an online system by registering through the Operation Journal System (OJS) (with the link https://jurnal.unsur.ac.id/agroscience), then registering as author;
e. The article writing guide (template) can be downloaded;
f. Manuscripts sent to journal editors, if the manuscript is not in accordance with the writing guidelines, then the manuscript will be returned back to the author, before the next process is carried out and attach the author's statement;
g. The manuscript that is submitted includes several aspects, such as: Article Title; Abstract; Preliminary; Method; Results or Discussion; Closing; Thank-you note; and Bibliography;
h. Each person's name is written in bold, and every foreign language writing is in italics;
i. Manuscripts sent consist of 10-25 pages, in A4 format, 1 space, 12 Garamond letters, and 3 cm limit (right, left, top and bottom), using the Microsoft Office Word program;
j. The manuscript is equipped with the author's bio, including: Name, Origin College, E-mail Address, Education History. All manuscript pages including tables, attachments, and references must be numbered in the page sequence. Each table or figure is given a serial number, title, and citation source.
k. The citation referred to in the text uses Cite Them Right 10th edition-Harvad. written in 12 (twelve) font sizes, Garamond typeface, the main source of citations consists of 5 (five) books, and 10 (ten) journal journals and the publication year period is the last 10 years for books and the last 5 years for the journal. The examples of systematic writing of quotations are as follows:

5. Author Biodata (CV).
Biodata or CV writing consists of, name, place, date of birth, home address, office address, occupation, telephone / cellphone number, e-mail, educational history, work history, workshops, seminars, training, and signature.
6. Statement Letter.
A statement letter from the author that the manuscript sent to the editorial staff of the Agroscience Journal is an original manuscript and has never been published in any journal or at any scientific forum activities.

Submission Preparation Checklist

  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

The copyright of the recaived article shail be assignet to the journal as the publisher of the journal. The intended copyright includes the right to publish the article in various forms (including reprints). The journal maintains the plublishing rights to the published articles.
