MULTILINGUAL CONTENT ANALYSIS PERSPECTIVE OF LANGUAGE ACQUISITION IN CHILDREN AGED 15 YEARS

Abstract


Multilingual education can also help reduce the stigma against multilingual students. Supporting 15 years old to use multilingualism by implementing multilingual education requires the participation of all stakeholders. There is no single solution for all of them because each region has its own characteristics. Educators need sufficient training and awareness to use multilingualism, while the government needs to implement strategies that can encourage the use of mother tongues in schools. The aims of this study are to find out the process of implementing multilingual in children aged 15 years, and to find out the factors that support the implementation of multilingual language acquisition in children aged 15 years. The theories that supports the research taken from Bot (2019) and Tarasowa (2014). This research used a qualitative descriptive, there were 5 students who participated in the research. In data collection, researcher collect data through observation and documentation. Finding Process of Implementing Multilingual in Children Aged 15 Years, Verbal-linguistic intelligence is one of the eight intelligences described by Gardner. This intelligence is highly valued in contemporary society, because people prefer to judge based on the ability to speak and write. Linguistic intelligence, especially communicating or speaking, must always be fostered as an important capital for quality human development in a country. Therefore, educational institutions must establish programs that foster language intelligence in children aged 15 years. The establishment of a multilingual school which is reflected in the classroom or educational environment is one way to improve language intelligence at the age of 15. With excellent schools capable of implementing the program, they have excellent mastery of foreign languages, especially English and Arabic.  Suggestions, based on the conclusions above, the suggestions for this research are, Teachers should foster and motivate their students to master more languages beyond what is taught at school. Students' parents should provide support for their children to master many languages in the world and local languages.
