APPLICATION OF AUDIO-VISUAL MEDIA TO IMPROVE THE SKILLS OF WRITING PROCEDURAL TEXTS OF CLASS XI STUDENTS AT BINA MUDA HIGH SCHOOL CICALENGKA

Abstract


This study aims to improve students' procedural text writing skills in Indonesian subjects at SMA Bina Muda Cicalengka. Procedure texts are one of the important aspects of Indonesian learning, but many students have difficulty mastering them. This study used audio-visual media as a learning method to improve students' procedural text writing skills. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, and field research is carried out in two cycles. The results showed that the use of audio-visual media was effective in improving students' procedural text writing skills. Through the use of this medium, students become more active and able to follow the correct steps in writing procedure texts. This study contributes to Indonesian learning at SMA Bina Muda Cicalengka and recommends the use of audio-visual media as an effective learning approach in developing students' procedural text writing skills.
