Abstract

Law No. 20 of 2003 states that education aims to develop students' potential to become human beings who have faith and are devoted to God Almighty, capable, creative, independent, have noble character, healthy, knowledgeable, and become democratic and responsible citizens. Media is needed that can achieve education competently, namely the curriculum. During the 2021 to 2022 pandemic, the Ministry of Education and Culture made a policy regarding the use of curriculum in educational units, namely the 2013 curriculum, emergency curriculum and independent curriculum. In the independent learning curriculum, the government of the Republic of Indonesia carried out a transformation of national education by placing character as the deepest dimension of national education in addition to intellectualism which is reflected in competence. Therefore, apart from intellectual development, student character is a very important dimension in national education. With strong character and high competence, students will be able to overcome various needs, challenges and new needs in their lives (Kemendikbud RI, 2017).
