Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe: 1) Development of the environment-based Science Project Project module in the Independent Curriculum in Phase E, 2) Validity of the development of the environment-based Science Project Project module in the Independent Curriculum in Phase E, 3) Practicality of using the environment-based Science Project Project module in the Independent Curriculum in Phase E. This research is development research using the 4D model which consists of 4 stages, namely (1) define; (2) design (design); (3) develop (development); and (4) disseminate. The trials in this research involved 3 material experts, 1 language expert, and 3 media experts, small groups (12 students), and large groups (25 students). This research has achieved feasibility standards based on the results of validity, practicality and effectiveness. The validator's assessment of the environment-based IPAS project module based on material obtained a percentage of 92.08%, the media expert's assessment obtained a percentage of 87.30%. So the average percentage of validity obtained from material and media experts was 89.69% with the criteria "very valid". The results of the teacher and student response questionnaire to the environment-based science and science project module carried out during field trials obtained an average percentage of 84.95% with the criteria "very practical". The effectiveness of the environmentally based science and science project module developed was obtained based on the results of the students' posttest. Of the 25 students who took the posttest, the average percentage of effectiveness was 92% with the criteria "very effective".
