Abstract

This journal is entitled The Influence of Somatic Auditory Visual Intellectual (SAVI) Techniques on the ability of Speaking Negotiation Texts for grade X students in MAN 2 kota Sukabumi. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the SAVI learning method in learning to speak negotiation texts. The researcher implemented quasi-experimental method by using control class and experimental class. The data collection technique was in the form of a test. The population in this study were all  grade X students in MAN Kota Sukabumi for the 2022/2023 school year, while the classes that were used as the research sample were class X-1 (Control Class) and X-4 (Experimental Class), totaling 72 students (36 students from each class). Before carrying out the process of learning for speaking Negotiation Text, a Lesson Implementation Plan (RPP) was made in advance. The results of learning evaluation, the average value of the experimental class learning with SAVI method was greater than the results of the control class which process was without the same method (the average value of the experimental class is 80.28> the average value of the control class is 58.33). The results of the t-test showed that the t_count value was 11.55. The t_count value was then consulted on the t_(table) value with the degrees of freedom (d.b) 36-1, for t.s. 0.05 the value of t = 1.68 and for t.s. 0.01 t value = 2.43. The gain of the consultation described that the 〖t〗_count value was greater than t_table for both significant level of 0.05 and significant level of 0.01. This resulted that there was a significant difference between learning with and without SAVI method.
